Neil Salvidge

Neil has been active in the construction industry since leaving school and completing his Carpentry & Joinery apprenticeship in the mid 80’s.

Having worked in Europe, Africa, Australia & New Zealand, Neil returned to the UK and joined Monarflex Geo-Membranes Ltd in 1995, where his role in the sector developed from Installation Technician through to the project management team.

In 2000 Neil joined PAGeotechnical Ltd, to develop all sectors of the business. Training became a key element in promoting best practice within the sector. This soon evolved into a more focused role, with Neil gaining his Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) and CITB NSAC (Construction Industry Training Board, National Specialist Accreditation Centre) Assessors qualification to become the initial assessor for the NVQ Level 2 in gas membrane installation.

Neil continues developing training programmes and is actively working with geomembrane technicians in gaining their NVQ qualifications. Having gained both Assessor and Internal Quality Assurance qualifications, Neil is active in the development of industry standards and has supported the development of the NVQ Level4 Verification of Ground Gas Protection Measures.

Neil currently supports training programmes for:

ABBE – Awarding Body for Building Education
BVC – British Verification Council
